2006
A performance tent, the Heritage Stage, was added to the Ring of Celtic Heritage area, bringing the total number of stages to seven. The Heritage Stage featured the Irish Singing contest and performers in an intimate setting. The Athletics and Piping events were separated into two locations; the Highland Fields (formerly the Parade Grounds) and the new Piping Grove, located on the Moravian College campus. Splitting the events into the two locations relieved the concerns of accidental injury by hammer, and gave both events room to grow. Plans were made in 2006 for the inaugural Winter Classic, which happened in February of 2007 at Stabler Arena, and featured two days of Celtic music, crafts and food.
