Beer / Wine |
Responsible for dispensing requested alcoholic beverages into cups and pitchers. Volunteer may be required to verify sobriety and age requirements (carding). Sell pitchers & mugs. |
Children’sCrafts |
Distribute art materials and assist children with craft projects. Project training will be provided at the Volunteer Orientation meeting. Great job if you are unable to stand during the entire shift. Crafts area is under cover of a tent and trees for shade. |
Entertainment Usher/IceHouse |
Deliver entertainer's evaluation forms from site to site and assist stage managers, keep fire aisles clear during performances, help with any backstage needs, load and unload equipment and assist the on-site Entertainment Committee member. |
Performer Sponsor Tent |
Main areas at Grand Pavilion and IceHouse. Volunteers provide a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere for the performers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Assist Hospitality Chair to provide a pleasant atmosphere for our sponsors. Keep area clean of used paper goods, etc. |
Information Booth $$$ |
Provide information, answer questions, sell program books and shuttle pins. Knowledge of festival required. Requires handling money. |
Parade |
Assist with crowd control along parade route. Requires walking. |
| Operations | Pre-Festival Set-Up Help out before the festival to set up booths, paint, etc. (2 weekends and the week before the festival.) Site Preparations Prepare sites for visitors; set up tables and chairs. (During the Festival.) Post-Festival Take-down Help out after the Festival to clean up and take down booths. (Monday after the Festival and the following weekend.) |
| Soda/Water | Serve bottled soda, water, juice. |
| Supply Runner | Deliver supplies where needed. Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. |
| Souvenirs | Help out in souvenir tent by keeping merchandise stocked and assisting customers. |
Ticket Sales $$$ |
Sell tickets used for food and beverages. Must handle money and/or credit card machine. |
| Usher – Games | Take tickets and monitor gates to ticketed seating at Highland Games or other events at the Parade Grounds. |
| Office Volunteer | Assist office staff in office trailer with incoming phone calls - answering questions, giving directions, delivering messages. |
