This isn’t your mom’s homemade meatloaf!
With a long tradition, the Celtic Classic Haggis Eating Competition is a favorite among festival-goers. Competitors travel from as far away as Alaska for the honor of holding the title of “Celtic Classic Haggis Eating Champion.”
Are you brave enough?
The rules are simple. The person that eats one (1) pound of haggis the fastest wins. No condiments, seasonings or sauces allowed. Haggis must be eaten as presented. Beverages are permitted.

The winner walks away with bragging rights, a $25.00 Celtic Classic gift card and a 2026 Celtic Classic souvenir mug. Judges decision is final. Held on Highland Field of the Celtic Classic festival grounds with a large audience, you will be part of a year’s long tradition.
