Retail Merchant Application

The Celtic Classic Highland Games & Festival is always looking for Retail Merchants with quality Celtic goods to offer our visitors.  The Celtic Classic averages more than 200,000 visitors during the festival weekend.  We are known to offer the largest selection of quality Celtic merchandise anywhere. 

The Celtic Classic is a free event with no gate fee.  Patrons have more spending options.

If you have unique wares and would like to be considered for a Retail Merchant space, please read the instructions below.  Space is limited because of our layout. Someone must vacate for a space to become available.  That does not always happen as previous year’s merchants have first option.

Please note:  Sale of WEAPONS of any type (ie. knives, swords etc.) is prohibited at Celtic Classic.  This also includes WEAPON REPLICAS of any material (ie. wooden/plastic swords, knives axes etc.).  CCA gives law enforcement the authority to determine WEAPONS or REPLICA WEAPONS to be removed from saleable inventory at the Celtic Classic.

RETAIL MERCHANT INQUIRIES

  • Retail Merchants considered for participation at the Celtic Classic festival must have an inventory of 50% or more of Celtic merchandise. Merchants with a higher percentage or merchandise that is not mass produced/unique are shown a higher level of consideration.
  • Merchant spaces are 10’ x 10’ within large tents provided by the Celtic Classic.
  • Prices range from $770.00 to $1500.00, based on location. An additional $150.00 deposit is also required.
  • Spaces are filled by January for that event year.  However, cancellations or unexpected changes do happen.
  • When spaces become available, Merchants are chosen by a committee based on merchandise selection, quality and uniqueness.
  • The Celtic Classic tries not to duplicate items amongst existing Merchants whenever possible, to create an interesting variety of choices to our visitors and a more profitable event for our Merchants.
  • Merchant submissions will be kept on file indefinitely by the Celtic Cultural Alliance, and reviewed each time spaces become available.
  • We do not have spaces available every year.
  • Due to the large number of submissions received at different times of the year, we do not contact applicants on the status of the application. We only respond to applicants that have been chosen to participate.
